Aurora Crown

 A totally show-stopping Tiara half crown, crafted in silver-plated wire
and entirely encrusted with Swarovski clear and Aurora Borealis crystals
in varying sizes....a real head-turner!
It can also be crafted in gold and/or with other crystal colours introduced.
The height to the tallest point is approximately 3" (7.5cm) above
the band and 1 1/2" (4cm) below the band, tapering down to 1 1/2" (4cm)
May also be made straight without the bottom 'peaks'
(See below for an idea of how this design will look without the bottom 'peaks')
 

Opulence

The Opulence Tiara was a finalist in a competition run by 'Crystalized Swarovski
Elements' and 'E-Beads'  The brief was to create a jewellery, home or
fashion design object with a theme....
'Inspired by Renaissance influences with a softened modern appeal
the competition theme 'Boudoir Beautiful' is the prevailing fashion
theme of 2010. Use pearls, bows and lace, filigree and
raw silks to weave around beautiful pendants or work around
fancy stones in a shimmering range
of hues with powerful dark contrasts to make stunning designs.

The resulting design is an extremely feminine tiara resembling a bouquet
with winding gold and filigree wire and Swarovski
Aurora Borealis crystal ribbons wrapped around
hand-woven crystal flowers in an array of gradually deepening
pinks with a gold pearl centre. The buds are created using glass seed beads
and the leaves and sepals are again woven in Swarovski crystals from
emerald to chrysolite. The whole is set against a background of black
lace leaves trimmed in gold with a couple of Baroque crystals
to add accent and glamour!

 Lacewing Butterfly

The Lacewing Butterfly is a hairpiece designed to 'rest' on the back of the head...
maybe adorning an elegant chignon? The gold-plated wings are intricately
adorned with a filigree pattern, interspersed with sparkling Aurora Borealis
Swarovski crystals and ending in gold coloured pearls.
The length (of the butterfly) is approximately 7" (18cm) this extends
a little to allow the comb and 'tail' to be pinned in place.
The wingspan is also about 7" (18cm) at the widest point.
This piece may also be mounted onto a headband to wear to the side, please contact
me to discuss other options.

 Fairytale Crown

 The Farytale Crown is a work of intricate swirling  detail.
Created in gold-plated (or silver-plated) wire and interspersed with AB crystals and
each of the eight alternating height points finishing with a stunning
Swarovski AB Baroque pendant which move individually and catch
the light as you walk.
The height is approximately 4" (10cm)  and 9" (23cm) from longest
point to longest point across. The base measures about 4" (10cm)
The crown is mounted onto a headband which may be  disguised by your hairdresser.

Icicle

A half-crown with a definate winter feel.
Standing at approximately 4 1/2" (11.5cm) at the tallest peak....
this stunning 'Icicle' inspired design is not for the shy bride!
The lowest peaks are around 3 1/2" (9cm)
The spiralling icicles are interspersed randomly with Swarovski crystals
in clear and AB and the peaks are finished with 'dripping water' droplets
that move and twinkle in the light....again in clear and AB.
A truly beautiful design that will be remembered and talked
about for anniversary after anniversary!

Tigerlily

 Tigerlily is my most labour intensive Tiara (in excess of 24 hrs) as every petal
 and leaf is hand beaded using golden rocailles, Swarovski emerald 
and erinite crystals are woven into the leaves and fire opal
and jet AB for the characteristic 'dots'
into the petals. The circlet sits approximately
2" ( 5cm) above and below the band. Please be aware that is a little
heavier than average...due to all of the beading involved.
May be fitted with combs or (more securely)
onto a headband which your hairdresser
should be able to disguise.
